Following up to my previous post, announcing the movie. The Japanese website has been launched and there is a promotional video on there aswell.
Really looking forward to this movie, if it promises to be half as good as the TV series then I am just hoping it gets licenced quickly after it’s Japanese [...]

It has been confirmed that despite ADV originally licensing Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, they then let it go. Why they would remove such a popular show from their catalogue? I’ve no idea, but aslong as it gets a good quality release then i’m not too fussed.

Following the brilliant 27 episode TV series. Now comes a Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann Movie, with no trailer released and nothing about the story yet revealed we can only wait and see.
